Let’s talk Vulva's!!
Who actually knows the anatomy of the Vulva? It’s amazing how little we actually know about our own anatomy! What most women actually call the vagina is technically the vulva. The vulva is what we see on the outside. It’s made up of all the external female sex organs - the labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, mons pubis, vestibule, and the urethral and vaginal openings. Whereas the vagina itself is the internal tubular, muscular canal that connects the vulva with the cervix and uterus!
The vulva is a multipurpose organ - we use it for urination, sexual pleasure, as well as birth!! How amazing is that?!? And they come in all different shapes, sizes and colours!! So let’s celebrate this amazing organ for what it’s worth! Viva la vulva!
